guilds

In Sword Art Online: Remastered there are collective groups of people that are known as Guilds. In a Guild, there are ties of unity and equality where each member plays a part in the overall success of the Guild as a whole. The creator, or originator of the Guild, is who is known as the Guild Master.

They play an increasingly important role in maintaining peace and order among the members they govern and watch over, and often appoint Guild Officers to act on their behalf where orders and matters of importance are considered — such as Raiding, Floor Boss challenges and maintaining the morale of guild members.

Notice: Creating a Guild costs 1,000 Cor.

Guild Roles
Guild Master
As stated above, the Guild Master is the creator of the Guild and analyzes the members of the Guild with skillful watchful intent. They also act as an executor in the event of a Guild member who passes away unexpectedly or dies intestate, dividing their assets and equipment among the members of the Guild or selling them to Avatars or the NPC market to add to the Guild Fund.

Guild Officers
The Guild Officer acts on the behalf of the Guild Master and are often seen as the strongest members of the Guild, frequently being the Avatars in charge of leading an assault during Raids, field operations and delegating instances of PvP — their primary function being maintaining a degree of peace among members of the Guild collectively.

Guild Members
The Guild Members are essentially the backbone of the Guild as a whole and are the driving force of operations where the Guild is considered. They donate Cor, experienced members of the Guild often assisting lower level and inexperienced Avatars in their quest to advance and progress through the world of Sword Art Online: Remastered.

Guild Funding
Guild Funds are used to acquire assets for the usage of Guild Members, and as such any Cor donated to the Guild is stored in what is known as a Guild Satchel. The Guild Master is the only individual who has access to the Guild Satchel and the only person who can divide Guild Funds or spend them.

The Guild Bank
Once the Guild Satchel has a total of 15,000 Cor the Guild Master may purchase a Guild Bank. The Guild Bank is used to store Weapons, Armor and Items that can be transferred to a Guild Member should they require better equipment than they currently have access to, the Guild Master then being able to withdraw the desired items and give them to the member whom requested them.

Guild Creation Template
Guild Name: The name of your Guild.
Guild Emblem: The symbol or emblem that will be used to represent your Guild.
Guild Prerequisites: Are there any limitations or prerequisites to being able to join your Guild? These can be anything from a minimum level requirement to a class restriction.

Party system.

Now much widely used and also used by guild members. Is the party system. The party system grants signifigant bonuses depending on how  many prople, and which classes are in the party.

With the party system it depends soley on whom is there. Initially with 2 players. In combat the party leader determins the bonuses gained. The benifits are as following. If in a non guild party picks  2. If all members are in a guild 3 are chosen.

With 2 people

+10% damage when attacking same target.
-5% damage from attacks.
+5% healing from spells/items.

With 3 people

+15% damage when attacking same target
-10% damage recived from attacks
-5% EVR for targets attacked by this party
+ 10% healing/temp DUR,DFR from spells items.

With 4+ people.

+20% damage when attacking
-15% damage recived from attacks.
-10% EVR for targets attacked by this party.
+ 15% healing/temp DUR, DFR from spells, and items

Party inital bonuses.

Depending on the number of party members in combat. The party as a whole recives bonuses. The respective bonuses double when within 10ft of the party member of the respective class.

When a party has 1 warrior

All members recive +5% temp DUR/temp DFR equal to the warriors maximum DUR/DFR.

When the party has 1 mage

Party recives -10% damage from spells.

When party has 1 hunter

Party gains +10% ACC equal to the rangers maximum ACC.

When party has 1 rouge

All party members get + 2 ACR

When party members have 1 preist

All party members recive +10% healing from healing spells/items.

When party has 1 paladin

Party members get 5% damage reduction.

When party has 1 valkyrie

Party members deal +5% more damage.

PVP

Now all sorts of induviduals roam around SAO remastered. There are average joe's and jill's that just got trapped in. And then there are the crazy people. That love a slaying as much as they love eating dinner.

The pvp system initiates when another player, or players attempt to attack another player. In safe zones  like heros landing, and other places. only duels can be initiated.

But in the case of home invasions, and guild wars, as well as multiple people outside of safe zones.  There are diffrent rules.

PvP Statistic Application

Instances in which PvP  takes place. (duels, or other cases like guild wars ) Accuracy Rating & Evasion Rating dropped as a statistic and substatistic. In the meantime other stats, bonuses, and item/spell effects will still come into play. As such, fluidity, detail and logic will dictate and determine the outcome of your battle.

there are several forms of PVP combat here.

Although new characters have protection against PVP for the first 3 floors unless an attempt is made to duel, team battle, or invade/infiltrate a thread. or the character opts out at any point via a claim approved by a mod.

Duel

this is a 1v1 fight between 2 avatars. The first one to win within 12 post, Or knock the HPR of the opponent below 50% will win. Death will not happen in this case if initiated in a safe zone HPR will only hit 1. But outside death will occur if HPR hits 0.

In the case of 12 posts being up the player with the lowest HPR is the  loser.

The players put up a wager. Wether it is freedom, cor, even stats if bold enough. And upon agreed upon the players duel.

Party, and guild bonuses are also disabled durring a duel.

Team battle

Initiated when two, or more parties clash with each other.  These are only initiated outside of safe zones. In this case players will fight untill surrender is accepted, or death when HPR hits 0. It is winner takes all. As players will if they surrender give the requested bargin on the line.

In the case of parties. Each party can only pick 2 bonuses from the party bonus selection.

Guild war

This is a special PVP that is initiated when a player from one guild attacks another, or if declared by the guild leader. Guild wars can draw alliances and huge battles. And can potentially span for many topics. But the reward. The winner can assimulate the losing guild(s) cor, items, and other requests into their own bank/charecters.

Note that in pvp (team fight, and guild war) Each party/guild party can only pick 2 of the bonuses that can be applied to the guild at the start.

ambush/unprovoked attacks.

Some players can attack unprovoked in certain cases. These players are known as "red players." Now when an unprovoked attack occurs. the system  will allow it as long as it is not in a safe zone. like A duel this can be 1v1. and will conclude only when both players have agreed to stop fighting, or if a player is defeated.

red player

Additionally when such an action is done the system will mark the player as an red player for 12 hours per infraction. in this time the player can be attacked by other players as act of justice. This will not turn an attacker of the red player "red."Uunless they knock the target within 5 HPR from death. rewards on winning in either ambush.

red players have a pretty rough time where in safe zones they could be attacked, and otherwise must be on edge with retaliation attacks. This means they should be safe as long as they have allies in place, and a guild. Although any stolen items in the guild possession will mark them as red. Red players maintain red status for up to 2 weeks.

death/killing another player

it happens. whether accidental, or a bloodthirsty red player loving combat. in the case of whichever means. from NPC, or another player.it happens. when killed by an NPC  one of 2 things will happen.

1. if in a guild all items, will be sent to the guild storage area. except for currently equipped items. they will be able to be picked up by others.

2. if not in a guild. the system will take all items and assimilate them appropriately. in the case of artifacts they will fade away. Unless in extraordinary circumstances. such as gifting another player. on death the user can gift 1 object to a party member. but if solo then that option will not be avaliable.

if killed by another character rules will be a bit different.

the killer will be able to siphon up to 50% of the targets current exp in a skill, to one of their skills. if they share a similar skill then all exp can be siphoned.  the killer will also be able to take all equippable items as well for their own.

when killed. well that has ended your character's journey. unless saved by very special items, that are artifact in rarity. there is no way to prevent the players death. Granted you can always make another charecter.

invader/thievery, and the mark system.

this can be done by almost anyone, but shines the most by thoes who who utilize the rouge/assassin subclass. When initiated this is done through a system called the  mark system. The mark system is a sort of analysis system where in your social/ current threads you will be analyzing your fellow participants. This of course is based heavily on your ability to ween information, but each post  grants +25 points to your marked targets. while each time they respond to you they generate +5 points per sentence.

The marked system has a guage of up to 200. At 100 this enables the user to make an robbery attempt on a target in their next thread. this is only avaliable in all threads except for private, solo topics, and floor, raid, and world boss topics." (note must be on same floor, and the target must be informed in a ooc message.) at 200 this enables a target with the invader skill to attempt at robbing a marked targets  home/ guild. However, this must be discovered via searching for their home. (mind you these will be observed for metagaming. once more ooc messaging is ideal to inform a player(s) there is an attempt made.)

marked status only lasts up to 1 week in ooc time, and cannot be extended in any way. When marked your character will be notified via the system. the mark system can be used positively as well. enabling a player who marked another various options including.

NPC companion protection: useful for friendly weaker characters. the users own NPC companion will protect this allys assets for 1 ooc week. (2 week cd)

Cor/item transfer: useful for allies in a party, when marked the characters and transfer Cor, and items respectfully.

Crystal teleportation location: this is an party only feature, where any crystal based teleportation can teleport the party to the respective player/guilds base/home.

Status and condition reading: A unique feature which grants the character knowledge on the player's status (negative afflictions, and debuffs ) and current HPR/DFR ratings, it could be used by ally's and enemies alike, but this only goes as far as granting this information

protective invasion: useful with allies as a means to protect an ally should they be under invasion. Note this will only be avaliable should the characters be on the same floor, and cannot be initiated/ replicated in any other way or form. via ability or spell
