Class Guide

Classes are a general idea of what embodies your choice as an Avatar, each of them carry passive bonuses to specific statistics, and each of their bonuses pertain solely to one support skill as well as one weapon skill. These classes, their roles and the bonuses given to you with each of them are listed below.

Note that just because you are playing a class. Does not mean you cannot build your own way, and style. Any weapon can be equipped, but the bonuses of your class will be the main thing behind your  class.


keep in mind all skills both combat and support are located in skills and feats list

Warrior

Warriors are the brute fighting force who act primarily as tanks in the world of Sword Art Online: Remastered. Their primary function is to act as a damage sponge, draw aggro from enemies as well as deal damage to them as the battle progresses. As a result of their intensive durability, it is more often than not that the enemy is long defeated by the time a Warriors` defensive might is overwhelmed. In a group, even a small number of Warriors can dispatch entire forces of enemies using their united strength and can overcome even the toughest of enemies.

Bonuses
One-Handed Swords +1 (Combat Skill)
Armorsmithing +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Durability with Shields
+5% Damage with 1H/2H Swords
+5% Defense Rating


Mage

Possibly the most versatile class of Sword Art Online: Remastered, these Avatars can wield a variety of powerful spells and reap the benefits from virtually all aspects of the game as a whole. From damaging spells to damage over time effects, large scale Area of Effect spells and even spells that create Armor or shields to defend themselves, and teammates.  They are a force to be reckoned with despite their lower quality defensive armor. With enough study and research the Mage can become the pinnacle of wielding the power hidden in the ley lines of the world.

Bonuses
Theurgy +1 (Combat Skill)
Cooking +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Damage with Dark Magic
-1 Cooldown Post on Time Magic
+5% Intellect Rating

Rogue
The assassins of Sword Art Online: Remastered, these close-quarters fighters are revered for their exceptional speed, accuracy and ability to take out enemies without ever being seen or detected. Specializing in the use of Daggers and moderate defense, these beasts tend to exploit their enemies weaknesses and overwhelm them with multitudes of slicing and piercing attacks to take enemies out quickly. With a flurry of attacks and love of fighting, even a single skilled Rogue can pose a serious threat to any enemy.

Bonuses
One-Handed Daggers +1 (Combat Skill)
Running +1 (Support Skill)
+1 Action Point Rating per Turn
+5% Damage with One-Handed Daggers
+5% Speed

Hunter

Hunters are referred to as nature's friend in Sword Art Online: Remastered, and as such, often befriend animals to act as their combative companions. These animals form such a strong bond with their Hunter that they often will have no qualms about dying to protect them. The Hunters` specialization lays in bowmanship, and their training with these weapons allows them to not only reload an arrow faster, but do so and follow up with unmatched ranged precision.

Bonuses
Archery +1 (Combat Skill)
Trapmaking +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Speed
+5% Damage with Bows
+5% Accuracy

Priest

The only class that primarily focuses on Light Magic in the world of Sword Art Online: Remastered, this type of Mage excels at eliminating the Undead and healing their allies simultaneously. Often confused with Paladins because of their convictions, they are still inherently magi, and as such, can often perform the same spells as any other Mage — albeit with less efficiency. The Priest does not often choose to fight and instead focuses on a more supportive role than anything, understanding the fundamentals of keeping their allies alive.

Theurgy +1 (Combat Skill)
First Aid +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Damage with Light Magic
+5% Healing with Light Magic
+5% Intellect Rating

Paladin

In Sword Art Online: Remastered, Paladins are a hybrid, where a Priest meets a Warrior. Specializing in the usage of magic as well as Maces, Paladins have an everlasting conviction to slay the Undead and crush the forces of evil under their heel. With a revolutionary combination of defensive capability as well as the striking power to back it up, few if any enemies will often attempt to approach a Paladin in combat ill-prepared. Between their brute force and ability to utilize Light Magic, Undeads seldom engage even a single Paladin let alone a group.

Bonuses
One-Handed Maces +1 (Combat Skill)
Blacksmith +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Damage with 1H/2H Maces
+5% Defense Rating
+5% Damage/Healing with Light Magic

Valkyrie

The Dragoons of Sword Art Online: Remastered, the Valkyrie is a spear-wielding powerhouse who both strikes with and throws spears with unrelenting force. Almost considered spartans, a small group of these can route an entire mob of enemies with almost no issue. Combined with the skillful implementation of shields, there is very little that can penetrate the defensive and offensive capabilities of a Valkyrie — and considering their ability to jump to evade attacks, it becomes increasingly difficult to hit them in combat.

Bonuses
One-Handed Spears +1 (Combat Skill)
Acrobatics +1 (Support Skill)
+5% Damage with One-Handed Spears
+5% Durability with Shields
+5% Jumping Distance Rating


special classes.

these are classes unlocked after certain requirements are met. They boast alternative methods to playing with unique options, and mechanics avaliable to them.

generalist class (only avaliable upon Ascending)

Uniqe in nature, the generalist class is a master of none, but has an wide range of customization, but through this it is only applicable  when A charecter has Ascended on the get go. enabling them to drill into their hidden abilities which grow expedentionally.

they also get to call upon the renments ofvtheir former power through skills by using the powerful weapon arts, but now can learn an new varient called extended weapon arts dubbed (EX weapon arts) a powerful extention with vast power.


Bonuses

+50 stats to freely allocate upon choosing this class after ascension.
+8 additional stats each level up.
+ 1 inate ACR .
the ability to use any Weapon arts they already posess
gains the ability to learn extended weapon arts. (EX weapon arts)
+1 subclass choice

Unlocks A unique ability  slot. This ability can be apped and is unique to your character alone.  (IE regeneration, damage reduction, or a special skill/spell.) note this is to be apped, and graded accordingly, and a character is limited to 3 of these unique abilities.

subclasses

with your base class this segment covers more to the obtainable potential that comes with advancement and obtaining certain skills.  Subclasses offer a greater source of power, and potentially  greater abilities.  Note due to the power of these subclasses the user can only gain A max of 3 at one time untill the Ascend. (unless special items are used.) When gaining a sub class the user gains +16 stats due to gaining 2 skills from the subclasses bonus skills.)

The only way to change  a subclass is through prestige, or an specific ultra rare item.These opens up new doors, and unique class bonuses, otherwise unobtainable through normal means.


subclass EXP

When distributing EXP from mobs, creatures, and the likes. you can choose to distrbute EXP into the subclass skills. levels from the sub class are added to the users overall level.


subclass limitations

Their skills as a sub class will be locked in the two skills that the class offers, but in that case Avatars will have the oppertunity to gain additional stats. and unique feats exclusive to the subclass.

The subclasses so far obtainable are as follows note each of these classes house an special ability slot unique for the avatar. This ability can only be used for the respective class only, and is unique for the avatar.

war chef

requires:
cooking:5
1 handed Axes: 5

bonuses

+5% damage with Axes
-25% cooking time.
+5%% EVR on all levels.
All dishes grant +5 bonus stats in all fields.

party buff: cooking buffs last +1 topic.

Assasin

requires

1 handed daggers: 5,
hiding: 5

bonuses

inital ACR bonus +3
+10% Damage with 1 handed swords/daggers
+5% damage vs players when in PVP combat.
+10% bleed damage.
+10%EVR on all levels.

party buff: All allies gain +5% EVR on all ranks.

skills gained:

support: infiltration:1



summoner

Requires

Theurgy:5
Whisper:5

bonuses

*can create summoning spells*
All spells deal +5% damage
All conjured summons deal +5% damage
All conjured summons have +5% DFR

party buff: Allies recive -5% damage from spells.

combat: conjure:1,
support negotiation:1



beastmaster

Requires

Bow and Arrow:5
Whisper: 5

bonuses

*able to tame 4 pets*
pets deal +5%damage
pets have +5%DUR/DFR
pets gain +1 ACR

party buff: Allies recive -5% damage from mobs.

skills gained: combat: Bows:1
skills gained: support: Beast pact:1


Holy knight

Requires: Theurgy: 5(additionally must know 5 Light magic spells)
Armor Smithing: 5

bonuses

base DFR/DUR increases by+20%
recives-10% damage from all scources.
+5% healing/Bonus DUR, and DFR recived.
Light Theurgy Damage/Healing +10%.

party bonus: Abilities cost 1 less ACR

skills gained: combat: 1 handed spears:1
skills gained: support: Ageis:1



gunslinger

requires

Archery:5
Blacksmith:5

*can create, and weild guns, and bullets*
+5% Damage with guns.
Guns can be fired from +10 ft in all abilities.
Guns have "Pierce" effect.

party buff: party recives -5 damage from ranged attacks.

skills: combat: sharpshooter:1
skills: support: gunsmithing:1



Archbishop

requires

Theurgy:5 (must have 5 light spells)
first aid:5

Recives -10% Damage from Dark spells
+10% light magic damage/healing
+5 Damage reduction versus spells
*User is immune to "Berserk" status affliction*

party buff: status afflictions used on party members  have a 50% chance to not take effect.

Archmage

requires

Theurgy:5 (1 spell of each element up to wind magic)
crafting:5

benifits

+10% haste for time magic
+15 damage bonus when using wands/staves
+ 10 magic DFR vs spells.
+ 1 post length on spell status afflictions.

party buff: Party gains +5 DUR VS Spells.

spell theif

*can create redirection, and counter spells*
ACR bonus+1
+10 damage reduction vs spells
-1 post being under a status affliction

Death knight

Requires

1 handed swords:5
Blacksmithing: 5

user recives -10% damage from physical attacks.
Dark magic deals -15% damage to the avatar.
user recives +10%  damage from light magic.
user gains  inital +25%DUR/DFR

user gains an bonus +25 to their HPR value.

party bonus: party members attacks all have an initial 10% chance to afflict Berserk on enemies.

combat skill: 1 handed Axes
support: Dark heart



Alchemist

Requires

crafting:5
First aid:5

*Poisons last +1 post longer*
potion/poison crafting time reduced by -25%
+5 to all potion bonus stats.
debuffs from potions last +1 post.
+1 accessory slot per level in Alchemy.

party bonus: potions can be consumed without paying any ACR.

combat: Theurgy:1
support: Alchemy:1

Any subclasses can be obtained despite your main class choice. And subclasses are always expanding.  (feel free to suggest more.)
