weapon arts



A weapon art is an unique ability utilized with the user's  when weilding their Weapon(s).  note similar to the  series sword arts. these are extremely powerful.

these can be a combination of both Theurgy, and an skill even into a fierce attack, or an even greater defense, or other unique effects. but is immensely powerful in its own right. This becomes your characters  trademark skill  like a super attack in a fighter game, or thoes wild attacks we have seen in SAO redpectively. . when using an weapon. Note any weapon, from swords to bows can be used.  But with great power, also comes significantly greater prices. Some may cost the user, armor, or even their life points on use. Based  on how powerful a weapon art is in use.

once used it will take up to 4 posts to use another weapon art, unless used in succession, as a chain art.

starting at level 8 you gain the ability to create you own unique weapon art, and at every 8 levels you can create/ learn an additional weapon art. This is the flashy, and devilishly tricky to defend against even in pvp. The hit could be a single blow, or multiple, or even a counter attack.


there are two other variations of weapon arts currently avaliable.

Chain weapon Arts

when used consecutively a sword art can be chained to another one should the user know 2 or more weapon arts, however this is limited to up to 3 ( or 4 in a special case.) when used this way the weapon arts in question will go on cooldown but can rapidly increase overall damage delt to a target. (per chained sword art increases final damage delt by +5%.) when used  the user can swap to another weapon should they posess another weapon, and a respective  weapon art as well. additionally this can combo into a skill on use.


partnered weapon arts.

involving the above variations this will involve multiple characters, including even pets/ familiar should they weild a weapon. highly damaging on a single target like bosses, this can  be used in a chain, and possess an initial 15% chance to stun per  participant. with each participant the damage is increased by +10%.
